Printer cable LCD display

Sixteen character in two line liquefied crystal display was used in this project. Data was communicated by eight data line from computer’s printer port, so using software user can send data to LCD, and as per information text was display on LCD. This project is can be used for displaying message for general people, advertisement and for the information display.

Motions tracking using specific colour and webcam

Using vvvv Language one colour tracking application is successfully done by me. Using this application user can mark the particular thing with specify colour and then using webcam computer can identify that particular colour and shows the x and y position of colour. Using this application user can get many output operation like getting x and y position, play movie or sound etc.

Door open indicator

Light dependent resistor changes the resistance as per light intensity using this principle this project is done. Light depended resistor is attached with door frame so we can get level change as per light or no light. This output is connected with driver circuit and then it was connected with computer, so when ever door will open or close user can get information in computer and user can also select some operation like play sound, movie etc. software part is done using visual basic language.

Electronics Dice

In this project AtMega16 microcontroller is used for display the functions of microcontroller. On pressing switch user can get random number on seven segment display. User can use this unit for playing dice game. Here two display character are showing two different no that no will be always less then six and for final result user has to add both no for playing game. Like here two numbers are 2 and 6 so final number is 8 and user has to move eight step in game.

Holophonic Sound

Holophnic sound is generated in computer which is utilized to  know the exact  location of the sound source. User location is mapped in computer so when user moves, as per user movement sound is also produced to know where the sound source is. This project is done using computer PS/2 port communication and wireless headphone. For sensing step user have to use footwear that can change state. This state is transmitted through RF single to base receiver and receiver will send signal to computer.

Digital Puppetry with Tangible Interfaces

To design a digital toy with tangible interface for the children belonging to the age group of 6 to 10 years, who have a developed creative desire, enjoy making stories with their friends and sharing it with others, that lets the users manipulate their chosen puppet figures and make a story themselves. Electromagnetic switches are used which can act according to user desire of pulling the string.

Computer game interface with real world

When we move the car on computer screen, car will also move in real world that is the main purpose of this game. Direction of the car can be controlled by computer keyboard. Here software is developed in visual basic that can communication with LPT port and there is an electromagnetic relay driver circuit which can transmit the RF signal for particular movement of the car. Synchronization between real world car and screen car is the most challenging part of the project

Environment sensitive display

In this project an object which is displayed on screen, will move according to the user’s movement. This is the main interaction of this project. We can get different effects like zooming of object. In prototype model we have used Light dependent resistor which will be activated by cutting of the laser beam. This was connected with computers PS/2 port. So,  according to input signal, object will response the motion.

Aqua Touch

In this project Laser Light along with light dependent resistors are used in matrix fashion. These get activated by moving the hand. Hardware is connected with computer’s LPT port and as per hand movement information is passed in computer. In software part Visual Basic, XML and Flash are used which displays the information.

LPT Controller

In this project we are using 5 different switches interfaced with the LPT port. Depending upon the activation of the particular switch, appropriate pre selected program will be executed. Software is written in Visual Basic Program. This software detects interrupt from LPT port. Here user can define any full screen Flash movie, or any other exe file to run.
